IT Vision:
A Culture of Educational Excellence that ensures that every student in the Springfield Public Schools has the technology skill necessary to succeed as a productive citizen in the 21st century economy and has a technological foundation that allows him/her to adapt to emerging technologies.

IT Mission:
The mission of the OITA’s Instructional Technology group is to develop, implement and monitor essential technology courses/lessons and related assessments. Subsequently, all of our students will be empowered to realize their full-potential and lead fulfilling lives as life-long learners, responsible citizens and leaders in the 21st Century. In addition, the group provides professional development for staff that aligns with the 21st century expectations of life-long learners.
