The mission of The High School of Science and Technology
is to promote professional and scholastic achievement in a safe learning environment.
Students will be able to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Teachers will teach
a standards-based curriculum to all students preparing them to communicate orally and
in writing, work collaboratively, develop social responsibility, to think critically
using problem solving strategies, and to employ a strong work ethic.

Students at The High School of Science and Technology
will graduate in four years. Upon graduation, students will have 21st Century work readiness
skills and will be able to continue their education.
On February 26, 2010 “Hands and Hearts for Haiti” a fundraiser was held at the High School of Science and Technology. The fundraiser included a basketball tournament, a t shirt sale, donations and a diversity exchange group was in attendance from Monson High School. The “Hands and Hearts for Haiti” fundraiser raised $1200 for the Haitian Relief Fund. Seen in the group photograph are Haitian-American students Sandya Fergile Sainvil and Stephanie Desrosiers.
