The mission of the Library-Media Center is to support and enhance the integrated and collaborative research and educational endeavors of the teachers and students.

Our Collection

The library collection contains over 2,000 non-fiction print materials. The library has wireless capabilities to access electronic sources. It also features current and contemporary works of fiction for student reading pleasure.

Hours

Monday-Friday 7:30-2:30

There will be one afternoon a week when the library will be open after school. The day will be announced in school.

Circulation

Books circulate from the library for a period of two weeks. Students may check out one book from the library at a time. Teachers are also encouraged to check out books from the library or the professional collection.

Please consider donating a few hours of your time each week in the library. Please contact Ms. Whalen for more information. Every applicant will need to submit background information to Springfield School Volunteers before he/she is able to volunteer in the library.
