Welcome to Chestnut Accelerated Middle School

Chestnut Accelerated Middle School

We offer a state of the arts educational facility enjoyed by our students, staff and the community. Our building features 3 computer technology labs, an Olympic size swimming pool, a basketball court, 9 full science labs, as well as classrooms specifically designed to support the visual and performing arts. Our school houses students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades as well as 150 staff members. Some of our prestigious programs include the Talented and Gifted program (TAG), Connected Math, weekly student banking, the National Junior Honor Society, and the English Language Learner program as well as our evening English for Speakers of Other Languages program for adults just to name a few. Chestnut is also extremely proud of our award winning drama club, and our outstanding performance in the science fair and history day fair.
