MCAS
All students are required to pass the state-mandated Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) exams in English/Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics and Science (Introductory Physics, Biology or Chemistry) to be awarded a high school diploma. The passing score on each examination, as determined by the Massachusetts Board of Education, is a 220 on a 200-280 scale.
