Marking Period 4 Progress Reports were distributed Friday, May 10. Parent/Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, May 21, at 2:30 pm. Contact your student's guidance counselor to schedule a conference.

Senior Finals begin Tuesday, May 21 through Thursday, May 30. Seniors, confirm your exam dates with your instructors.

Baystate Medical Center will be presenting Academic Week, "Celebrating Innovation and Discovery at Baystate Medical Center." On Tuesday, May 21, from 4-5pm, SCHS, Sci-Tech and Renaissance will have teams displaying their research and experiments during the BMC Student Science Showcase at the Chestnut Building. Buses are provided by Baystate and will depart SCHS at 3pm and return from Baystate at about 6:30pm. See your science teachers for more information!

Congratulations to SCHS English teacher, Ms. Anne Marie Bettencourt, for being named the 2014 Massachusetts "Teacher of the Year!"

Uniform Policy: The updated and complete SPS Mandatory School Uniform Policy is available by clicking here, but a brief summary is provided in the description that follows. The SCHS uniform consists of a black, collared shirt with white or black undershirt and tan or black pants or knee-length shorts or skirt. All clothing is to fit appropriately, and bottoms are to be worn at the waist. No jeans or cargo pants. No studded-belts. No insignias or patterns. Principals have discretion to limit the use of accessories. No hooded sweatshirts or any jackets during school, regardless of Central insignia. Black, non-hooded sweatshirts with Central insignia are acceptable.
