Directions:
1. The Parent Information Center is accepting
Magnet & High School Wait List Request forms for the
2010-2011 school year through December 3, 2010.
2. Requests for Putnam Vocational Technical High School
must include a Putnam application completed in full by the
student’s school counselor.
3. Completed Wait List Request forms may be returned to
the student’s school, the Parent Information Center,
or mailed directly to the Parent Information Center at 22
Mulberry Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
4. Students can be on only one wait list at a time.
5. Incomplete Wait List Request forms will not be considered.
6. Students are removed from the wait list for the following
reasons:
• The student is awarded an assignment
to the wait list school.
• An assignment is offered to the
wait list school, but is refused by the parent.
• The parent requests that the
student be removed from the wait list.
• The student is retained and no
longer in the appropriate grade for the wait list.
• The student no longer is enrolled
in any school in the district or at any school assigned
by the district.
• PIC is unable to contact the
parent.

Direcciones:
1. El Centro de Información de Padres esta aceptando
solicitudes de transferencia de escuelas para el año
escolar 2010-2011 hasta el 3 de diciembre del 2010..
2. Solicitudes para la escuela superior Putnam Vocacional
Técnica deben incluir una aplicación completada
por el consejero en la escuela de su hijo/a.
3. Las hojas de transferencia completadas deben ser regresadas
a la escuela, al Centro de Información para Padres,
o enviadas por correo directamente al Centro de Información
para Padres al 22 de la Calle Mulberry, Springfield, MA,
01105.
4. Los estudiantes podrán estar en solamente una
lista de espera a la vez.
5. Las solicitudes de transferencia incompletas no serán
consideradas para el cambio de asignación.
6. Los estudiantes son removidos de la lista de espera por
las siguientes razones:
• Al estudiante se le otorgo una
asignación de la lista de espera que deseaba.
• Padre/Encargado rechazo un espacio
cuando estuvo disponible.
• Padre/Encargado solicitaron que
el estudiante sea removido de la lista de espera.
• El estudiante es retenido y ya
no esta en el grado apropiado para la lista de espera.
• El estudiante ya no esta registrado
en el distrito ni en ninguna otra escuela asignada por el
distrito.
• El Centro de Información
para Padres no pudo comunicarse con el padre/encargado.
