The mission of the Communications Department is to promote and market Springfield Public Schools, programs and initiatives through a range of communication. The overarching goal of the department is to improve public confidence and involvement in the Springfield Public Schools. The department also assists District staff in media relations, public information and crisis management as well as developing communication initiatives.
